First Time’s a Charm

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that your child’s first examination comes by their first birthday. We want to instill a level of comfort with our office and proper dental care from an early age to set a foundation for a lifetime of great oral health.

A Place to Call Their Own

Children’s Dental Center was designed and built just for children. We want a trip to the dentist office to be an experience that kids look forward to, so we focus on keeping their visit enjoyable and positive.

One of the most important parts of your child being comfortable with their exam is being comfortable with our staff. We have special training and extensive experience in helping anxious children feel comfortable and secure during their dental visit.

By the time your child is 3 years old, we ask parents to stay in the waiting room during the dental visit. We encourage this so that our staff and doctor may develop a relationship with your child as well as complete the dental care and education while we have their complete attention. Following the doctor’s exam, he will visit with you regarding your child’s oral health. All planned or suggested treatment will be explained and reviewed with parents prior to starting any treatment.

Education

We bring dental hygiene to your child’s level by sharing the importance of everything from tooth brushing to proper diet. We want the children to know that they are an important part of having a bright smile. For parents we will provide techniques and instructions for caring for your child’s teeth and we are always willing to help with any questions you may have.

Come On In

We encourage you to complete your child’s health information online prior to your first office visit.  You will receive an email with your login information one week prior to your child’s appointment.  Dental insurance cards should be brought with you to your child’s appointment.  We request 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
