Orthodontic Treatment

Diagnosis, prevention and correction of malpositioned teeth and the jaws

As your child grows, another important reason for regular dental checkups is to allow our dentists to monitor development of the permanent teeth and jaws to identify developmental progress that could potentially become a problem later in life. As a standard of care, the pediatric dentists at Children’s Dental Center recommend an orthodontic evaluation by our orthodontists at Parkway Orthodontics at age 7. Early minor orthodontic treatment can make later treatment less extensive or unnecessary.
We have two orthodontists and an experienced team that provide our patients with premier care at Parkway Orthodontics.   Your well-being is their highest priority, and their goal is to make your orthodontic experience both fun and rewarding.

Every treatment plan is unique

In order to discover your best treatment options, initial complimentary visits include a thorough examination,  X-rays, photos and impressions for study models that are essential in developing a treatment plan designed specifically for your child’s needs.  We encourage you to ask questions at this time as well.
While general questions about treatment can often be answered during the initial examination, specifics will be addressed after careful analysis of the diagnostic records.  It is important to our orthodontists to analyze each patient’s specific needs, because in-depth planning leads to superior results and higher patient satisfaction.
A consultation visit will be scheduled to discuss treatment options, time frames and financial arrangements. Our orthodontic team ensures that patients leave the office with a clear understanding of their specific needs, what the treatment will consist of and how long it will take.
