About Dr. Scott Gibson
Dr. Scott Gibson is a dedicated orthodontist who grew up on his family’s farm in Spencer, Iowa. He pursued his passion for dentistry by earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry, after completing his Bachelor of Arts at Wartburg College. Dr. Gibson then completed his Orthodontic Specialty Training at the University of Nebraska, College of Dentistry.
Outside the Office
Dr. Gibson lives in Sioux Falls with his wife, Melissa, who is a general dentist, and their two daughters, Evelyn and Mae. The family stays busy with their daughters’ school and activities, as well as their active involvement in church and community events. During the summer, Dr. Gibson enjoys gardening with his daughters, focusing on dahlias, gladiolus, and other flowers. He also loves spending time in Okoboji, Iowa, where the family enjoys swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, campfires, and playing card games. His dedication to family, community, and his patients is evident in every aspect of his life and practice.
